Stargone is the result of a worldbuilding project I’ve been tinkering with for a long time. It is a soft science fiction setting where humanity has expanded out into the stars and fractured into different groups, which all lived in a tentative peace with each other and their alien neighbors until a war between two alien empires spilled over onto the edge of human colonization. The war has had massive ramifications which have changed societies and left the survivors picking up the pieces.
This is a project that has up to this point mainly been furthered through my art, along with blurbs in notebooks. In my head, there is a history and detailed lore to many aspects of this universe. I have finally decided to put it all down in one place. I will be posting regular articles to expand the view into Stargone.
This is a universe that will have from the scale of cosmic mysteries down to personal stories of individuals on their own journeys.
The purpose of this project? Really just to build. This is a world that could exist in a tabletop skirmish or RPG form. If this universe strikes something with you, feel free to take and adapt this it as a foundation for some other creative project of your own.
